Daniel Fast Sample Menu

Update 9/20/14: Wow! I am honored that this post has become so popular thanks to Google searches and Pinterest. I would love for you to read more about me and about my experience with the Daniel Fast. I pray you have a blessed fast!

———————————————————————————————————

Part one of this Daniel Fast series focused on the spiritual purpose of fasting, and part two focused on the education behind fasting.  Today is part three and it, along with the rest of my posts this week will focus on the practical sides of participating in a Daniel Fast.

Today I have provided a menu that I planned for me and my husband for a three week Daniel Fast.  Note that we love Latin flavors so we would be happy with taco night every other day!  With that being said, this menu is specific to our needs and schedule.  As an example, we have more relaxed mornings on Fridays and Saturdays, so I put more complex breakfast ideas on those days.  On Sundays and Mondays sometimes we only eat two big meals instead of three normal ones just because of the way our schedules work.  Feel free to use this menu idea as a jumping off point to give you fresh ideas, and arrange your own menu to what works for you and your family.

Click through my next several posts for some great Daniel Fast Recipes that are listed in this menu plan.
